Fortuna and Betcity upgrade other corners
Zian Flemming, Mark van Bommel, John Linford, just a few Fortunezen who have a prominent place in the stadium since this season. In cooperation with main sponsor BetCity, four corners were equipped with a canvas featuring various (former) players, each with their own story. A beautiful addition to the appearance of the Fortuna Sittard Stadium!
After this success, it has been decided by both parties to add a unique design to the remaining corners as well. This time it involves three sides, as the away box will not be included. Just like at the beginning of the season, the voice of the fan is leading in this and that is why we are asking for your help.
Which icons are still missing?
Currently, fifteen Fortunezen already shine in the corners of the stadium and one side is filled with classic atmospheric photos. So with the arrival of the new canvases, there is room for even more club history! The following former players can already be found in the current designs: Ruud Hesp, Kevin Hofland, Ronald Hamming, Mark van Bommel, Fernando Ricksen, Faas Wilkes, John Linford, Willy Dullens, Rene Maessen, Jan Notermans, Stefan Askovski, Mats Seuntjens, Roel Janssen, Perr Schuurs and Zian Flemming.
Nevertheless, some crowd favorites and/or individuals who have played an important role in the club's history are still missing. We would therefore like to hear which club icons should not be missing from the next three canvases.
